PhD María Paula Ronco

Welcome to my personal webpage !

I am a theoretical astronomer dedicated to study the formation and dynamic evolution of planets in different environments.

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and I've always been interested in astronomy. In 2013 I got a Bachelor's degree in Astronomy at the National University of La Plata and got my PhD in early 2018 with a Doctoral Fellow of CONICET. I am currently a CONICET Assistant Researcher at the Instituto de Astrofísica de La Plata (CONICET - UNLP) and an Adjunt Researcher at Núcleo Milenio de Formación Planetaria. I previously was a FONDECYT Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Astrophysics of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and I also was a postdoc at Núcleo Milenio de Formación Planetaria. My current research projects focuse on planetary formation and evolution in binary star systems and planetary dynamics around evolved stars.
